The Contrasto Agency is a benchmark for quality photography. It produces and distributes images to journalism, communication and advertising company, for the fashion and publishing industries, and represents Italy in the Magnum Photos, founded by Robert Capa and Henri Cartier-Bresson.
For the first time, an Opera chooses to give value to the photograph entrusting this language, just the contemporary world, the communication of its business. It is a choice of great innovation and meaning that the immediacy and power of photography in his relationship so close to reality and its possible interpretation is the correct code for communicating the activities of a nerve center of Italian culture as the Opera di Florence / Maggio Musicale Fiorentino.
Various photographers will take turns to document the work of artists, the Orchestra Choir Conductors, dancers and singers, to interpret events, concerts and backstage.
In addition, the same spaces Opera Florence Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, from the foyer to the rooms, from the ticket office to the dressing rooms of the Artists, by tailoring the wardrobe, will be gradually equipped with large photographs of past and present, creating a visual narrative in able to testify to the value and richness that viewers living in the enjoyment of great music.

Even the communication campaign of the Opera and the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino is based on the photograph: they were in fact realized photographic productions with new images, in line with the effort to innovate cultural communication making immediately understandable and, just through photography, work of a great theater that needs to talk to the city and to the world.
